What makes everything better?

New shoes.

Meet my Newtons. They are a shiny piece of midfoot running technology. I would go run in them right this second if we weren’t having wicked storms.

Also …

Basil. There is never too much basil.

Olive tapenade and basil flatbread.

Zucchini lasagne.

Nilla wafer ice cream sandwiches. Rolled in crushed Butterfingers.

So yes. Except for running and running-related items, all of the things that make me feel better are food. What?
