Finally. Pie.

Four and Twenty Blackbirds opened, rudely, about a week after I moved away from Brooklyn. But Katie is a true and devoted friend, so she made sure to bring me here at the very first available moment.

We shared lemon chess and salted caramel apple, and now I feel like my nearly-all-uphill run this morning served a rational purpose.

  1. No coconut cream, Daddy, but they do change pies daily, so you never know! There was a savory lunch-type pie , Brad. It was something squashy. And Mom, sometimes you just have the pie whether the day’s walk was long enough or not, right? Some days just demand pie.
